Aisling Bea

Aisling was born on March 16, 1984, in Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's top-rated and well-known comedians. She was on QI, alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling CliodhnadhSullivan (born on 16 March 1984), also known as Aisling bea, is an Irish comedian actor, writer and director. Following appearances in bits on a number of Irish and British television series from 2009 Bea was able to begin her stand-up comic in the year 2011. Bea began performing regularly on sketch comedy and sitcoms in 2012. In the wake of her success in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was invited to appear on a number of panel programs. She was a member of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team from 2016 to 2017 and was an ongoing contestant on its spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She is the daughter of Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her sister, was also born. In 2012, she was the first woman ever to be awarded the So You Think You Are Funny award. Bea is her maiden name to honor her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan, born Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Bea's father Brian, an equine vet who committed suicide when Bea reached the age of three, was a sufferer of self-harm. The news of his suicide only after 13 years old. The stage name she chose was Bea in honor of her deceased father. Bea also published an article published in The Guardian on her family's suicide experience. Bea was fostered by her sister Sinead and her mother Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer, as well as a former professional racer. They were both passionate about horses, races and the racing industry. Bea was a guide for her family's involvement at the Irish National Stud in her young days. She knew, however that it wasn't what she wanted to do as a profession and preferred doing.
